im a christian and i want to see the movie, and i think sometimes many people exaggerate to much, this movie looks cool, it doesnt even mention God, i think its what u take it to heart what is what matters not wat u see

Why would Christians make such a big deal over the movie?
That bit can't be answered more plainly than the way stated in the above paragraph.

Mabie sometimes I'll throw in the odd post with a statment htat's not quit necessary, but that's nothing compared to the hatred you so callled "Ethical atheists" have demonstrated.

If the arguments that i truly put time and effort into forming (like the one above), are that incomprehensible, why , as Achilles said, haven't you blocked me.
I'll tell you why. Because you know I've got a point in one odd post, but you can't stand just sitting there ignoring it without defending you fellow atheist of the crimes they justify in a "children's book".
I tried to have a reasonable debate, but you're so convinced that the beleifs you hold are the truth, and nothing but the truth.
My experience in this section of H3F has been unpleasant to say the least, but all too reflective of the type of atheists that are present in today's society.
So I can't debate. So I make stupid comments at times.
That doesn't mean you're justified to insult, degrade, and display the tremendous overall hatred you have demonstrated.
Even if I'm ignorant and I don't have a clue of what i'm talking about, what you're doing is unaccaptable.
If I've learned one thing from this section of a HALO forum infested with atheists, its that they're ultimately the hypocrites who show no mercy or respect for their fellow human beings.
From what i've seen, I'd rather be an ignorant person who treats others with dignity, no matter who they are, what theyve done, etc...
I've been on quite a few forums that deal with this topic, and I've openly stated my opinions the same way I have here and have NEVER EVER EVER befor been o appalled by such a group of people who beleive to be the holders of truth in our time.

Your point is NOT valid, and you still don't get it. I really don't like to block people for being annoying, even though you are almost getting to that point. You sir could set personal records for me. Now to your point. You say that in his books he depicts the christain church as all of that crap, well I dont really care what his books say. The point of this thread is the movie. New Line Cinema has changed it in the movie. There are no references to the christain church in the movie, so there fore your point in null and void. You also made the point that watching said movie would influence kids to pick up the books and read them. I can see teenagers reading the books, but children, I cannot. Parents will most likely be accompaning their children to this movie (I dont know many children that can drive/pay for their own movie) and they can judge wether or not to give the child said book IF the child would even want it. I dont know many children that read trilogies either, I certainly had no aspiration to read the starwars books after I saw the movie.
