Whatever manner suits you. Ask me whatever you want playa, as long as you promise to buy beer when you visit. And hookers.

I'm 20. Unless we're in Canada, I won't be buying any beer at all.

You don't have to be 21 in the United States to buy beer noob. You need a friend who is 21.

Ok then. So what does it matter if it had factual events in it?

I agree. BACK ON TOPIC PLEASE!

I feel that we have established the following things:

1. Evolution is scientifically sound, and it has loads of empirical evidence.

2. Creationism is not a scientific model.

3. The burden of proof is on theists.

4. Personal experiences do not qualify as evidence for God's existence.

5. Only the gifted can tell the difference between 'evidence' and 'proof', and frankly I don't really give a sh.t. Semantics detracts from the debate.

With that said let's get back to the debate.

I'll quote my post a page back. It got left behind on the page shift...

Ah, but that does nothing to make you think, increasing the overall competency of our race and delaying our ultimate destruction, likely at our own hands.

We're slowly careening off topic. While we agree that it's not possible to absolutely disprove or prove the existence of G_d as defined by religion, it's certainly something we'd like to know.

Is there any way to find the answer other than personal experience? I don't think there is.
Can there be any way to verify the existence of a personal G_d without personal experience?

Indeed. Word games can be fun, but that's not what this should be about...

Not likely. I believe that if there is a God he is most likely NOT personal or really much of anything. If he exists, he is most likely very simple.

I'd agree, if not for personal experience.
