Posts: 209    | Why would anyone want to be atheist? There are tons of hard facts and hundereds of years of tradition and believing there is a god just cause it can't be scientifically proven why does that make some people think its ok to not believe?

Posts: 2,879 | I don't try to make god into anything. He just is the sole reason for the universe. He is just a spark. He doesn't grant prayers...or make miracles. He just exists. And I only use he because it has been ingrained into my head after all these years of forced Christianity. I should use it or the thing. The impersonal god offers explanations for the beginning of the universe, and that is one of my main reasons for being deist/plain-ole-theist.
