Hey! No trolling. If you don't understand, look it up.

So ya, don't come here to validate your atheism. Nobody here is going to change their mind either way.

That said, I was raised Christian but don't believe in a god.

If there is no God, explain to me this:

- How people get Stigmata.
- Miracles.
- Ghosts and religion being tied together.
- Exorcism of Emily Rhodes.

I could go on.

Note the word solid proof. If I could make you believe with the proof that there is, then I wouldn't have to have faith. But since most people won't believe until he shows his face, you have to rely on some faith.

There is a lot of Biblical things that have been proven. Many prophecies have been fulfilled and there are still more to come. All the more why I believe that God is real.

If you don't believe in God, explain to me how the earth was created. And I don't mean just something small. Like the Big Bang. Elaborate on the issue. If you really think it's possible that somehow the earth and all the people upon it were created just as a fluke, then explain that to me.

People believing in god is them trying to justify things they can't understand. Hey look, that tree just appeared in midair. Must be god.

What about other dimensions, dark matter, etc? Unlimited properties of this universe and others that we don't, and may not understand. And as long as we don't people will believe in god.

And as for the universe, it was all compressed into a singularity (point of infnite mass) which then expanded.

So no, I don't believe in god. And anyone who tries to push their religion in my face is worth nothing in my book. (not directed to anyone here, just in general.)

People evolved from simpler organisms, which in turn were formed by basic atoms combining into organic molecules by natural conditions.

Trying to justify that because we don't know everything about our universe or our evolution, and that is why we take upon God, is silly. I believe in God for a much more complex reason than that. Even I could figure out that some higher being had to have created the universe. It couldn't have just created itself. While believing that is your own opinion, it is silly to think.

The description you just posted is not proven, nor has any facts or reality to it. It's just something you came up with and decided to post. If you think that we were created that way, how were the things before it created? Did they just appear in time? When was time created? How? By whom?

The answers are already given to us. That is the purpose of the Bible, to answer questions of humans that are inexplainable from our own eye. Sure scientists will try to disprove anything you go for. Because they are scientists, and certainly people with more questions than the average. But what they do is not fact. They do something that gives them the answer they were looking for, not the actual answer.

If people would read the Bible and not exclaim every single thing in it as false, they wouldn't have such a problem. It is the answer for the human beings life. It's the beginning and the end. And it always will be.

If something can't come from nothing, then how can we....how can anything exist?

That's enough proof for me.

So your saying everything in the universe, and other universes, can be explained by one book, with questionable sources.

Take a look at how far we've come in a few hundred years. We used to think there were four elements (earth, air, fire, water) and that the earth was at the center of the universe. Now look at what we know. There are so many things we don't yet know about the universe(s), imagine what we can discover when we learn more about them. If you have extra time, I would advise reading "The Elegant Universe".

What is the more complex reason for which you believe in god?

Yes, actually, I do believe that all the questions can be answered in one book. In fact, it can be answered in the first page of the book. I believe this, and whether you do or not, that's not my case.

But, you trying to explain to me that the earth and humans just happened is silly, and I have a hard time taking you seriously, if you're going to post things like that.

Did anybody hear about the insomniac-dyslexic-atheist?

He stayed up all night wondering if there was a dog.

Thank you, and good night.
