I can edit, render, and play in HD fine. i can even play/edit 1080p

I'm leaning towards a yes since i've had no problem with those things before. just worried about my wright speed for real time capturing.

What are the specs on your HD? Mind DLing HD Tune and testing out your write speed?

HDPVR is a matter of simply transferring <20mbit video over USB. The hardware is converting. So you'll be fine I think.

well i HATE my sd cap card and i can't get clear quality. I want to record l4d, MW2, cod4, and any other game i want to make a video out of XD
It's also easier working with HD since i can see everything and produce better videos.

Save up and get a good one NEPN. You shouldn't have to play QL using the same config as someone who's trying to max out the FPS on their P3.

then i can't play with any of my friends online if i got a new pc since they aren't pc gamers. i'm not making solo videos btw.

and shut up about the quake live config. good pc or not i will still use my config. it's a personal preference. and fyi i fixed my laptop and i can play it full 150 fps, but i don't like all that eyecandy.

Full 150? QL is restricted to 125 fps 0_o.

Speaking of configs, have any good QL commands that can increase the # of frames I get. I've lost duels because I f..ked up my chances of railing someone at YA.
