This has gotten many Xbox 360 owners angry as they are already paying $50 for the service. Thought it was weird that 1 vs 100 had streaming advertisements, now I gotta look at them on the dashboard? Think we can get an adblock?

Microsoft would probably make one, then charge extra to use it. They should only give ads to silvers.

This will eventually grow to more in game advertisements. Motion control, bad economy, now more ads? The gaming industry is really failing hard in my opinion.

I can understand how you guys are mad. Thinking about it though basically everything has advertisements these days: movies, tv etc. Surprise it didn't come sooner..

So we are clear I'm not for it.

I am for Silver only myself. I mean, gold subscribers pay $50 a year. The least MS could do is not give gold any ads and show what their money can mean.

But there are various reasons to put ads in movies. 1# Helps pay for low-mid budget films. 2# unless it's a different world, it's probably also done to add alittle realism to the environment. (To a certain extent)

But for a gaming service that you pay for is ridiculous.
