| | ![]() One of the greatest f..king albums ever. DJ Shadow was amazing on Endtroducing...., but from what I've heard his other releases were terrible.

| | I really dislike the Outsider and The Private Press is questionable and inconsisent I think. Entroducing is obviously his best and pinnacle of his work. Preemptive Strike is good too though for what it was made to be: great remixes and other original content compiled very smoothly similar to how he did it on Entro.... Overall he's a great artist. One of my all time favorite musicians actually. I'm just starting to really get into DJ Krush who is a very surprisingly good producer. He has a fantastic collab. with C.L. Smooth on his album Holonic The Self Megamix called "Only the Strong Survive."

I also think The Private Press and Preemptive Strike are pretty good. The Private Press has arguably his best song, Blood on the Motorway. Sure both releases aren't as coherent and consistent as Endtroducing, but they are still worth picking up and listening to. Also, Dj Shadow has an excellent live album called In Tune and On Time that is worth checking out. Anyway, right now the album I am listening to is The last few weeks I have been listening to this more than any other album I own. It's absolutely flawless- Steven Drozd's instrumentation (keys, drums, guitar) and Wayne Coyne's songwriting are both top notch. This might be the best record of the 90's. | |||||

| | Oh yeah, The Soft Bulletin is a fantastic album by the Lips. A lot of their greatest songs are on that record and it has my favorite production of all their efforts. Definitely checking out that live record now, thanks for mentioning that.
