Conspiracy: B+

This film follows Val Kilmer as an ex-special operative that goes to a southern boarder town to find out what happened to his friend he was in action with. He runs into a town and group of people held captive by the fear of illegal immigrants and has taken the law into their own hands. Kilmer gives a great performance as an injured man and their is some pretty good action scenes later in the film. I liked the supporting cast and this is a film with a message as well.

This is an amazing film based on an amazing book. You follow the last couple years, partially in his own words of Chris McCandless as he rids himself of the shackles of our world and leaves for the wild. The best part of this story is that it is a true story. I loved the book and the film was not a let down. The acting by Emile Hirsch was great, the direction was great, there is NO letdown in this film for any of my grading categories. This is an automatic bid to the drama list so go rent/buy it now.
I was waiting for you to review this. awesome, we agree!Excellent movie!I'm halfway through the book now.

I really cannot believe that it was that well done. There really is nothing to complain about . . . even great films I can find places to criticize but this movie is flawless.

I agree, I just finished watching Into The Wild just now and it was beautiful. Excellent story and executed perfectly. Hard to find anything wrong with.

Doesn't that just rock your world though? An essentially flawless movie? I cannot think of the last film that I considered flawless. I would even consider giving it an A+ but it is hard to give those out without seeing every film out there.

Into the Wild is by far one of the most amazing stories I've read and seen on the movie screen. Sean Penn did a fantastic job of keeping to the story, all though I don't really remember the Dutch couple in the Grand Canyon being naked. . .

**a few SPOILERZ**

I just saw Vantage Point Saturday...and surprisingly, I liked it quite a bit. O_O The reset and refresh with a new perspective gimmick totally did it for me -- it was a unique, cool idea (although by the 5th time it did get a tad bit annoying, I will admit). I really dug how the story creepingly advanced through the people's different perspectives. The acting was good, even though Mathew Fox's character seemed completely out of place in regards to the twist -- which, speaking of it, wasn't explained at all (major flaw) - my guess is you're supposed to assume he went rogue for the sake of money? Even though he was, like, a secret service agent or some coolness which obviously paid exponentially more than most people's jobs? Eh, a bit far-fetched, but looking past that aspect and a few other small smudges, as a thriller/mystery/action movie I actually liked it quite a bit, and recommend it.

ARGH, I haven't watched any movies in far too long. Stuff I need to watch that I've rented from the library:

-The Re-animator (for the lulz)
-Inland Empire
-Crash
-Into The Wild.

Hopefully I can watch at least one of these this week and actually write a decent review.
