Big week:

Clerks 2: B

I did love this movie but it overall was only a B. But I still highly recommend you who are so unlucky as to not have seen it in theaters to rent this gem. It is one for the masses if you are the appropriate age. Funny, good writing, just didn't have the flow of previous Smithcapades. I found it a bit choppy and a little in-your-face-for-the-sake-of-being-in-your-face for me. But as a loyal fan, yes, I loved it and NO it was not better than the 1st.

Superman: A-

Great film, way to revamp the series and leave it plenty open for as many others as they need. Kevin Spacey easily is the best actor but our boy from Iowa does a descent job as superman. Even better than his predecessor in my opinion. Lois Lane is hot yes, but I think there is room for improvement and I am sure with time she will come around. Loved the plot, a great twist on the story that goes a bit more with the comic book. Highly recommend and am looking forward to more from this series.

Pirates of the Carribean: B

Ok. Yes I know Depp and Legolas are hot but seriously why did this film gross so much money? It was good but not THAT good. Once again I recomment this film but cripes the amount of money it made was just bugging me through the whole thing. I think that this film MUST just be a settup for the 3rd film much like the Two Towers were in LOR. So hopefully the 3rd will deliver or else I think I will have wasted a bit of time for some cute boys on film.

John Tucker Must Die: D

Holy sh.t. This is right up there with Bring it on Again, again. Haven't seen fluff this bad in a while. And do not ask why I ended up watching it. Or there will be kicks in the nuts everywhere.

Beerfest: B-

A poor followup for the supertroopers gang. There are some funny parts and the plot did have the potential for these guys to be funny but they just didn't deliver in the manner we are accustomed too. The nudity wasn't that great either so no bump in that category either. A watcher if you cannot find anything else.

Miami Vice: B -

Interesting. A bit boring but interesting. I heard so many things about this film that I had no idea what to expect. Acting wasn't horrible and the plot wasn't all that bad. Just it was put together a bit off and the flow was slow to stagnant at times. Only watch if you are extremely bored and cannot find the action section.
