I was wondering what movie I should watch next today, and I just hit the search button, typed in movies and searched. What do you know? A giant list of actually good movies. Thank marked achilles. I'm so downloading one of those titles now.

I have been busy this week with babysitting liz and whatnot but the movie I got to watch this week was :

Click. C- at best.

I do believe that Adam Sandler has completely given up. Recycling old characters and cast members into the same script as Bruce Almighty is not going to fly on any planet. Especially earth. Somebody needs to give him a wakeup call that sometimes making a movie involves a bit of work.

Not lords of dogtown. I liked that movie and heath ledger et al did a great job portraying them but it is defined as a drama and will not make the list.

Dogtown and the Z boys now, that may make it on to the Special intrest list I am compiling for next week.

It is in my top Drama/suspense/foreign list. Post #6 in this thread.

Clockwork Orange - A and a solid one at that.

Stanley Kubrick at his best. I am not the biggest fan of 2001 but the man makes up for that film and any other tiddely wink film he made in college with this monster of a film.

It is the duality of man in the character of Alex. Anger, violence, love and debachery. It was the V for Vendetta of the 20th century. One filmmakers attempt to illustrate the way he feels the world is heading if we do not change our ways. And many critics and politicians of the time agreed with him and still do. Some see this futuristic like view of ourselves as where we are still heading. The raw violence as a metaphor for war and the wretches in the gangs way as the 3rd world countries that are raped in the same manner as a common street whore. If there is a poke at world (and U.S. especially) politics as blatant as this, I haven't seen one.

Best director, best producer, best screenplay. And all Kubrick. Yes the acting is great in it as well but I believe with stanley at the helm you could of put Paul Walker in there and it would of been amazing.

Oh and I do believe there is a boobie or too in it as well.
