| | Out of popular demand here is a simple tutorial to de-interlace your recorded video in Vegas. This is mainly if you do all of your editing in Vegas and export the final product using Vegas. STEP 1: Launch Vegas. STEP 2: On the "File" tab in the top left of the Vegas window, click on "Properties". STEP 3: On the "Video" tab of the "Properties" menu, where it says: "Field order:" change it to: "None (progressive scan)". STEP 4: Again on the "Video" tab of the "Properties" menu, where it says: "Deinterlace method:" change it to: "Interpolate fields". STEP 5: Click "Apply". Now you are ready to go. Simply edit your video as normal. Now when you render the video and save it to your computer, you will no longer see those horizontal lines; the video has been deinterlaced. ~Mike
