Naw, it's because I do it in MeGUI, which, because it enables like every single possible thing that can be done to improve quality, makes it take much longer. I render at about 1fps for 720P video (100% CPU usage on 4 cores at 3.4Ghz).

I stopped doing x264 for 2 reasons

1. WMV's actually look/work better with Youtube. And that's where all my videos go.

2. I lost all the profiles and the ones available are new/weird/different, which results in me not knowing what to do.

I usually just do both so for the people who enjoy x264 they can have it, and for those who hate installing new things can just watch the wmv.

I can't take screens of WMP in action, but I can play x264 in WMP no problem?

It's a decoding problem or some sh.t. It's been like that for ages.

I took my screenshots in Vdub.
