Hey I'm having trouble with this. I followed everything in your tutorial, but when I captured GTA IV, the video has a horrible motion blur. I don't know if this is due to the fact that I only have Composite video cables.

And here's a third, using Guitar Hero 3, what I primarily captured prior to today. I never had the motion blur issue on any of my videos before, and this capture confirmed that some setting I changed messed that up probably.

I really do need help, I've googled Virtual Dub, My capture card, and motion blur in all sorts of variations. If this helps, The preview image is fine, looks perfect, but it's once I start recording that the motion blur is applied.

You have loads of compression methods. When I use VDub, I only see (No recompression: YUY2). No other compression methods. Halp?

So by compressing your clips 3 times you get the best possible quality?

I don't think so.

Capture uncompressed, deinterlace, edit, compress.

sorry for bumping a old thread but i also cant get the sound to work. I dont think its this program, its just that when i installed the driver for the dvc 100 the sound wasnt installed can any1 help me out? :/
