intensity pro would do you good seeing your comp specs

then again its the hd raid array that would have to be placed into consideration as well

Yeah, I would like one of the HD-PVR owners to record a clip in the highest possible bitrate for the .TS file and then convert it to a file type that Vegas can accept at the highest bitrate and then render that at a normal montage bit-rate. Or however they do it, because I would love to see it at a bit-rate of 4, without losing lots of it's quality.
