My friend is having problems trouble shooting a problem that I can't help him with. He plays on the PS3 and he records with virtual dub. He uses Dazzle 170 and Vista.

This is the error he gets, if anyone has any ideas on how to fix this, it will be appreciated so I can forward him the solutions.

Dazzle 170s only record with Pinnacle Studio

Well he use to have studio and he like the lightweight design of vdub. So he used vdub and never had a problem until he started to record with svideo.

wait.. So he was recording on v-dub with the dazzle 170?

It shouldn't be able to work; I don't know how he managed to capture through vdub. Tell him to use Studio if the error keeps happening with S-Video.

Haha yeah, he records with vdub on dazzle 170 no problem. It is just every once in a while, on certain clips, he gets that error. He can render the video and edit it no problem. It's just that comes out, and from what I can gather, it is an audio problem. I told him when he gets home to try turning off the audio and just record gameplay and see if it still pops up. He can record/edit videos with virtual dub, its just once in a while, that error comes up.

Yea you can set-up the dazzle 170 a certain way and get it to work. I did that until it broke.

But idk, what that error is, sorrys.
