| | Hey look! Another version! Anyways, SynthDub v1 (Homestar's Batch Deinterlacer v1.6) (build 135) Download: http://www.mediafire.com/?duzcccfd1jg Requirements: AVISynth 2.5.7 msu_fieldshiftfixer.dll (either version should work) VirtualDub (Versions 1.7.7+) New Stuff -added auto-updater application (updater.exe) -added option for complete customization of AVISynth script -fixed various bugs and errors -added error reporting from VirtualDub (SynthDub will report the first error that VirtualDub runs into) [How to work it] (10 simple steps) (well, simple-ish) 1) Open VirtualDub (version 1.7.7+) 2) Set the compression you want, filters you wish to use, and any other settings. 3) In VirtualDub, go to File > Save processor settings... 4) Give the file a name and save it somewhere you will remember. 5) Open synthdub.exe. By default, it will first check to see if a new version is available. If an update is available, you have the option of downloading the new version, or continuing with the old version. 6) If you have not yet set up your options, the options dialog will open. Click each browse button and locate the appropiate files. (Virtualdub.exe, msu_fieldshiftfixer.dll, the .vcf file from step 4) 7) If all you want to do is deinterlace your clips with the default script, click "Save". 8) Click "Add Files..." and choose your clips. 9) Select a folder to output the encoded files to. 10) Click "Start". [Creating your own scripts] You now have the option to completely customize the AVISynth script that VirtualDub uses. 1) In the options dialog, click the checkbox next to "Show advanced options". 2) Click the checkbox labeled "Enable advanced script editing" 3) Paste in/Type up any AVISynth script you wish to use. Wherever you wish to include each clip's filename, type "filename.avi" (quotes included). Ex: AVISource("filename.avi") or DirectShowSource("filename.avi") 4) Click "Save". 5) That's all! Your custom script will be saved with your other options. Please post/pm me any bugs you encounter/questions you have. Well, it's 3 am...so....I'm out. -Homestar PS. If you get the error about a missing file "comdlg32.ocx" then....do this stuff.... 32-bit OS:
