Here is just a 30 second long quality test. I compressed it to 15mbs so it's not the full quality i can get. But the full video was a few gb so i couldn't upload that download it to see the full quality of the video because the streaming video has audio lag.

Helpful tip:

Use xillisoft to compress, 5mb maximum

When you capture, capture in uncompressed that quality is really sh.tty

Maybe lower the Contrast a little bit.

I can compress, with almost no quality loss, at 3mbps x264, or 4mbps WMV. 15mbps is completely unnecessary. The most you would ever need (even for 1080P footage) would be around 12mbps.

Edit: It's not the rendering that is making your quality bad, its how you capture. Either use Huffyv, or simply capture uncompressed.

Try using this tutorial:
[Video Tutorial] How to easily de-interlace with MSU and compress in x264 in one step

i like the quality i got with the mp4 i posted it's hardly has motion blur and i didn't do anything to it at all
oh and i tried that tutorial and it wouldn't even let me open avi files in vdub after i did it and it took me 2 hours of messing around and uninstalling things to get avi files to reopen in vdub

edit: here is a new quality test but remember to download it please it looks bad in filefront if you watch it live so here it is http://files.filefront.com/ggavi/;11.../fileinfo.html
