Alright, well I got my ATI USB 2.0 the other day and I havent gotten it to work with vDub yet.

I have everything plugged in, but I don't use a s-video cord right now. I am using the red white and yellow cords cause my tv has video in and video out.

I have no idea what the problem is, it doesn't even show a picture on my screen in vDub, even when I go to capture mode. It cannot recognize any capture device that I have.

Can anyone help me out a little bit? I've read the tuts on vDub website but that was not a success, I've also used the search button here with no results.

Edit: Alright, I got it to work by searching like mad and downloading a lot of sh.t haha. But I want to know how to make the file size muuuuuch smaller, I captured about 20 seconds and it was almost a gig, is that normal?

no but what i do is i cap it then i open it in sony vegas 8 and render it to wmv so it turns out to be same quality,, and like 10 mb's =],, try it..

Well sh.t... I don't even know if I would have enough space on my computer for the damn clips if I captured them all right now.

ya its usually a gig a min but u can get the huffy compressor and lower that like alot but it wont be super small
