I have my stuff plugged in and when I open the program and go to capture the preview screen is just blue. I set it to Preview and the Preview Acceleration to Both Fields like I normally did and I went to device and my ATI is recognized and selected but I can't capture still.

Suggestions?

umm, in my vdub that happens but its not blue screnn.. in mine is green, but it capture anyway. try to capture with the blue screen.

Try video source and go to svid or whatever you capture with.

Blue means it's getting the signal. Setting your video source should fix the problem.

Yea now I'm getting the video. But NOT the audio. I can live with that but do you have another idea that could fix the audio?

make sure that your ati is selected as the audio.

That's normal. Go to Audio > Enable audio playback, if you hear audio, you're good, if not, mess with the Audio source. When you finally hear audio, turn the Enable audio playback off because it will make you drop frames. It will still capture audio, you just won't hear it from your computer.

Also, there's a setting somewhere in V-Dub to capture audio from the video device. So, even if your ATI isn't listed under audio (Like mine isn't), then you can still cap audio if you select "Capture Audio from same device."
