Posts: 1,042 | Certain AVIs I put in Vegas 7 will only give me audio. I actually made this post about 9 months ago and got the solution to getting the video part as well, but now I have a problem there as well. The original solution was to rerender in Virtual Dub. However, I'm on a new computer now and Vdub is giving invalid codec messages. Any help would be appreciated as to how I can get my AVIs to show video as well in Vegas. Thanks

Posts: 1,865   | Yeah, if you're using Studio # you need to buy an extra encoder to render them correctly I believe. The only solution I know is to render in VirtualDub. You could try updating your codecs or posting the error messages. Hopefully someone more knowledgable can give you a hand.
