I recently purchased a dazzle 150 cap card from Schaf and I've been gettin some weird problems with my quality. My quality is okay just really dark until I click the button I circled in the pic which makes weird boxes on most of the screen (Btw I dont speak German I just had to use someone elses screenshot because I don't know how to make my own.). I read all the tuts on deinterlacing using MSU and have messed around with it alot but any way I do it, I get the same error, when I try and open a clip in Vdub. It just says error: 2 probably mpeg2 and has the file name. Mpeg2 is the only way I can get good quality in Pinnacle studio 9 that I've fount. I've been messing around with my settings alot and I can't find a way to get good quality when I capture without getting the boxes on the screen. Could someone please help me fix my quality?

The video you showed us is interlaced. Using a program like Vegas can fix that. Theres other programs out there. Look up how to de-interlace on these forums. Theres quite a few.

My 150 used to do the same thing. I had to click that button and set everything how I wanted it, then close and restart Studio. As long as I didn't click that button after Studio started back up, everything would look fine.

Dazzle does not work in v-dub. Try that deinterlacer thats in that guys signiture a couple posts up. That would work. If that dosent work with dazzle either, talk to me on IM. tehneedleriz4nubz@hotmail.com
