KK so about a couple of weeks ago my computer decided to sh.t on me with all these random things that I can't do anymore but for now my most important one is compressing in xillisoft my video turns out really sh.tty like it looks like my comp got ran over or something heres what it looks like

It does it with every single codec I can think of I do what ever i've been doing for the past 4 months and it's never happened until now. I've got 250 gb of harddrive space and it still says i got about a 100 more, i dont use my comp that often. The only codec this doesnt apply to is avi when i compress it there but i dont want it in avi because the file size is f..king gigantic. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

If it's really important my specs are

QuadCore Intel
2gb ballistix
250 gb western digital harddrive
8800 GeForce (im pretty sure its geforce if im not mistaken)
WindowsXP
And I capture with a Pinnacle 510

I will capture anyones clips if they can resolve this!

PS they've already been de - interlaced so thats definately not the problem

I would've said not enough processing power, but after seeing specs now I doubt.
Did you check the settings on the right-hand pane making sure they were the same as the ones you had used before? idk just throwing random stuff out there. Hopefully you find a solution.

That's strange. Those settings are fine. I honestly don't know what to tell you then.
Use firefox btw. IE sucks.
