I myself have a quest to learn Adobe After Effects and find out what Sony Vegas has to offer me. Yes I have looked at many tuts for these, but they are on youtube, and very hard to follow and understand, except for Kings. Especially when it comes to After Effects, it's extremely difficult when you don't know the basics of it, like the simply layout of it.

To King, I was going to pre order this so to speak, but I can't get your website to work, I go to the forums and click on any link and then it takes me to some sort of "problem loading page". Is anybody else experiencing the same? Thank you so much king for doing this, I especially like the fact that you are including the previous package with this. How large is the file size?

The way things are looking now, the upload will be tonight and the release will be tomorrow during the daytime. Filesize before I have zipped is around 700 MB. So we're looking at about 550MB. These videos will be in FLV format, so you may need to download FLV Player for them to work. Or use VLC. The reason for the file type change is to accomodate mac users as well.


Also, I am not sure what your problem is killingyou, as QsK seems to be working fine for me. You can simply PM here and pay to zdubz2009@yahoo.com if you want however and I will send you your package at release.


And Crest, your tuts are great actually I think. But idk it may be that when I am teaching I don't use too many terms that the average joe wouldn't understand. And I recommended you in my new package many times btw.

Yeah, I did use the word "somewhat" wrong. I realize you are trying to help, I respect you for it 100%. You're doing a great thing for many others learning to edit and another keeping a site that many people also enjoy.

I don't see any problem with what King is doing here, and I don't understand why everyone is making a big deal out of it. The fact is King is a good editor, it's a skill that many people don't have but wish they did. So with that in mind let me rattle off some points:
1. King is offering an awesome tutorial that explains how he does what he does.
2. He put a lot of time into making this tutorial, and obviously a lot of time into learning these programs, so I don't see why charging a fee for a well produced tutorial is so wrong. My college professors charge to teach what they know, should i go complain that they are being greedy?
3. King DOESN'T charge for montages, although he puts a lot of work into those as well.
4. $10 to learn how to edit like a pro is not a lot of money at all. I spent $10 at Taco Bell about 2 hours ago, and 3 burritos and a chalupa < full aae/vegas tutorial everytime.
5. You don't have to purchase it if you don't want to pay!

Don't complain that he is trying to be greedy! He has no obligation to make these tutorials for new editors, but he makes them anyway and puts a lot of time into them -- and he's doing it mostly to support the QsK site.

EDIT: I just realized that the posts i was reading with ppl b..ching were all on like page 2 haha so while everything i said above is true, it's possible that my logic is too late. but if you're planning on b..ching in the future, read this first.
