As many of you know, Microsoft and ATI will tell you an ATI TV Wonder Pro will not work on any version of Windows Vista. I, however, have managed to find a method that will allow you to. At first I followed Cramesta's tutorial, but it didn't work. So I found my own method. Disclaimer I DO NOT guarantee this method will work. My tutorial MAY or MAY NOT work for other versions of the ATI TV Wonder Pro or other versions of Vista. I am NOT held accountable if you spend your life savings just to find out it doesn't work. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work, there is nothing I can do about it. Do NOT contact me with questions regarding this tutorial, I will not respond.
The ATI TV Wonder Pro I am using has the Serial Number 650607014372-01 on a white label on the bottom edge of the box under the TV Tuner Requirements. The disc says ATI Catalyst and it has 200, then 180-V01069-200. I am using Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit. Downloads DriversMEGAUPLOAD - Primary Link [.ZIP - 4.09 MB] The Procedure This procedure may look long, but in reality, it's about 1 minute. I recommend looking it over first, then doing it.
Note: If you can't see the screenshots in Firefox, right-click the image and select View Image. - Install the physical ATI TV Wonder Pro into your computer into an available PCI slot. [Guide] [Video Guide]
- Turn the computer on, it should say it found new hardware. It might say it's not compatible with Vista. Just ignore it.
- If your using the disc, put it in now. When it asks you what to do, select Open folder or view files. If you're using the download, right-click and select Extract all.

- Navigate to Install/WDM_ALL/ and double click Setup and let it run. It will ask you to restart your computer. Select No, I willl restart my computer later, and click Finish.

- Go to the Start Menu and right-click Computer, and select Properties
- Select Device Manager on the left hand column
- Go down and expand Other Devices and you should see Multimedia Video Controller. Right click it, and select Update Driver Software.

- Select Browse for driver software on your computer and navigate to Install/WDM_ALL/TVWPro/TVWP_XP.

- It will say installing driver software.

- When it's done, you can now your use your ATI TV wonder Pro in VirtualDub.
