It's what I've been using. Extremely simple to use too.

I made a tut on how to use MSU and avisynth for Arrow like 2 months ago, turns out my mic was effed and I never finished making it. But yes, this method is absolutely amazing for deinterlacing your clips.

Yea ill have to see how it looks when i get back to school today cuz i have no clips with me that arent all ready deinterlaced. But i almost agree with crest here becasue sure this make your video looks good but Bob deinterlacing will actually make you have 720x480, 60fps
so i geuss you get your choice.

SO personally I'd rather be able to slow down smoother, Then get that extra clarity. While Bobbed video looks great in my opinion.

Edit: On top of all this. To my knowledge, this Field Shifter isn't completely linear.

Crest I was thinking...when we render to WMV, the color gets all washed out, why not capture in 100% Saturation to compensate?

You lose Color Detail.

Plus WMV just overcompensates by brightening. Darken the entire video alittle before rendering.

The 60fps that bob produces isn't really 60fps, it's just 30fps that displays every frame twice. So you don't get smoother slowmotion.

If that true Maito, Then Blending would solve all of that. I don't see that with what tests I've done.

With most of the footage I've bobbed. I go frame by frame in programs like Vdub, and from what I can see is most of the time I see unique images every frame.

It's annoying how the Xbox will go full interlaced then at times Render pairs of fields.
