But Im really kind of confused on HOW it wont read this file I have saved into my recording folder?
I did everything precisely, but it says

Avisynth Open Failure:
AVI source auto detect: couldn't open file "video 1" *yes thats what it is saved as*
Error code 2

what do i do? Im recording with Dazzle Video Creator Plus

I haven't tryed this for myself, but in the directions it says to record w/ VirtualDub, and record it as a .AVI video file. Maybe that'll help...

Make sure your AviSynth script starts with Avisource("video.avi") and not just Avisource("video").

Ok, I can't post a new thread yet so I'll just post here, this problem is extremely frustrating. Whenever I drag the script to VDub, I look through the vid and find stutters and frame misplacement. It stutters in different places every time I drag the script in again. The stutters show up when I'm rendering too. I tried closing all background programs and it barely helped, and I tried messing with the script properties and nothing really helped there either. My clips are in mpg format by the way. Sometimes there are no stutters, but I really don't want to go through every clip I deinterlace to see if it stutters, if it is a problem with my computer, then I'll move to my other one with higher specs, but I was wondering if there was something I was doing wrong.

you're obviously not setting the location right. make sure you get the file location EXACTLY since, iirc its case sensitive.
