Anyone have a mirror of the MSU FSF .zip I can have? That site seems to be down ATM.

I've tried this about 12 times now not getting the same result as the last picture. Mine always ends up being like the second picture. I've downloaded all the stuff you said. My script is right. All of it's in the same folder except VDub and AVISynth. And my file is AVI. I dont know whats wrong.

EDIT: I Figured out what was wrong. I was using an already deinterlaced clip (it looked like picture #2). You have to have a clip that looks like picture #1 for it to work. Thanks for the help btw.

Someone could help me ?...

At first, sorry for my english because I'm french.

As deathenator, I'm looking for the best deinterlacing method/filter but when I do all Ryu says in the first post of his thread, my video is still interlaced when I load the script...

My interlaced video :

My script :

That's the same thing ! I have a lot of experience on encoding vodeos so maybe I entered wrong settings but I don't think.

Are you sure this filter is a deinterlacing filter ?

Thanks by advance !

As a general rule, use MSU for only games that run at 30fps.
Otherwise, you'll have to use a Discard-resize or bob deinterlacer.

I'd give an explanation, but for now, the basics of it are that MSU re-arranges the video so that they line up, but only on video with shifted fields Like a 480i video from the Xbox. Games that run at 60fps won't work since each field is unique. With TV shows they tend to be 480i60 with unique fields. MSU doesn't actually deinterlace at all, it just moves some stuff around.

I understand what you say but when you wrote "for only games", does it means this filter works only with video games and not with sports events, or I'm wrong ???

For info, my video is at 25fps and still interlaced ( so shifted fields. ), does it works with this filter ?
