Newer version of what? I DLed the latest version of VDub, the latest MSU Shift Fixer, and the latest AviSynth version...

EDIT: BTW Ryu, I changed the thing to directshowsource and now I got a totally new error....I feel like I just suck balls at this.

That means your video wasn't found. Make sure the.dll the script, and the video are all in the same folder, then make sure your video title is correct. Get on AIM because I don't think your video is an avi.

i get that everytime i try to open it up in vdub. help? i followed the directions correctly so i dont know whats wrong.

Take the .avi out on the name of your clip, vista already knows it's an avi file without you adding the extension. And also it could be because the video file has a capital "V". Try that and tell me if it works. Other than that all I can think of is to upgrade to the newest version.
