I'd like to know how some of the effects in Smack's 1st were done. The fast forwarding seemed a bit different than what Sony Vegas does. If you notice it's smooth at the beginning and the end, maybe he did the speeding up in AAE? He also spun the sword reticule and used it as a transition which was pretty cool. I'm guessing masks, but how did he make it look so nice.

I'm surprised nobodies asked this yet, or maybe they have in some special term and i didnt catch it. Regardless, how do you transition using weapons and maps. QsK King is known for doing this, for example, he'd still a frame right after a snipe and then insert another video into the sniper scope. Then it'd transition into the video shown in the sniper scope. He does this with doors, openings etc. This might be complicated, any ideas?
