ive been looking around for a perfect guide, but cant manage to find one that fits what i need.

i plan on buying an ati tv wonder pro, recording in s video, from my original xbox to my laptop.

if anyone has any easy steps, or a guide that i may have missed,along with the products needed i would greatly appreciate it, because ive become really confused, because every guide i read differs in its products. and is it possible to record onto my laptop with the ati? because i saw somewhere that u cant, but that was only from one guide.

you can't record to your laptop unless the ATI TV Wonder Pro that you have is EXTERNAL. If it's internal, it will only work with a PC.

ok thanx, but ive decided not to get a capture card. too much of as hassle, and dont want to waste money

you can get an internal ati tv wonder pro for $30 on ebay.
