Alright, my Vegas 7.0 will work for about 5 minutes. Then it freezes up, or shuts down. But before I open it this message pops up...

"The MSSQL$ONY_MEDIAMGR service does not exist or the current account does not have enough privilege to manage it."

The message says that.
What does this mean?
Do I need a new copy of Vegas?
Please Help! I"m just about done with a tage, and I don't need this in the way.

Means you didn't install the mysql part of the download. Thats the only way I can run vegas on Vista.

But I'm running it on XP. So can I just dl and install that. Or do I need to re-install Vegas?

Id say just re-install Vegas and see if that keeps happening.

I re-installed Vegas 7.0. That message doesn't pop up anymore, but the program keeps on shutting down. Does the same thing when I try to render.
