This is a video with my original quality and the quality i have now? Is it better, i only used the brighten and sharpen effect in Vegas. How can i make it better?

Its better on the second.

You can make it better a couple of ways, but you already did some of them. You can change your compression, use x264.You could also sharpen, brighten, and use saturation in vegas to get better quality.

What capture card are you using?

Im using a Dazzle 150, the first clip was straight out of the box. I didn't use saturation. And i have no idea what x264 is.

Im guessing you capture with studio 9, and by start capture press settings and use custom capture and put the bitrate to around 7900 and that should fix your quality alot. Then in vegas you can enhance it.

Thanks for the link. I have the bitrate at as high as it can go. I honestly saw no difference.

Hmm, I couldn't tell you whats wrong then, I capture in studio 9 on my dazzle 150 and get better quality, my bitrates at 7900, and I render through windows media encoder.

You dont use studio 9 except to capture the clips right?

As in, Record<Edit clips in Studio 9<Render clips in vegas.

Do not edit the clips in studio, just import the whole game into vegas, and edit it there.

You will get slightly better quality.

What i do is capture in studio 9, then edit clip. Render that in AVI off of Studio. Then take that clip into vegas, do whatever, then render out as wmv, because i didn't have a file compressor.

I have a pretty slow computer, should i still use v264? It takes me about 1 hour and 30 minutes to render an FFA. If that helps.
