Posts: 7,383   | So I read the sticky thread on running your 360 into your computer monitor and being able to play on it. (pretty sick) With the VGA cable that he mentioned and posted, is there a possible way to capture off my computer monitor with an Internal Capture Card? Cause That sounds like it would be sick... right now I have my computer desk, and my 19inch TV and my 360 right next to eachother in my living room, but we get our 65inch TV with surround sound on Friday. (by which I must have my TV and 360 out of the living room cause it looks trashy... my moms says) So I was just wondering if I could keep my 360 at my computer desk and play it on my monitor, and STILL capture on my monitor. help would be appreciated. =)

Posts: 2,143 | yeah dude, you can capture your screen cause your comp isnt hooked up to the monitor if your running the 360 to the monitor You would have to buy a VGA capture card Some guy I know has one but he got it from taiwan

Posts: 3,922 | yea its possible but i dont suggest it. just play on a TV and capture composite, s-video, or component if you can. dont try VGA youll spend more money than you want

Posts: 23,545 | You could get a HDMI CC. get a VGA to Component Adapter, then a Component to HDMI adapter. Therefor 1080i capture is possible.

Posts: 3,922 | its dumb, either capture in s-video for cheapest, component for almost the same price (Pyro), or get an HDMI cap card but youll prolly need a really really good computer to even use it.
