hey you said on your first post people might have huffyuv and you're not going to baby anybody through it but i don't have a problem, i just dont know how to make it come up on my vdub list so i can select it, does it have to be in any certain folder in vdub? and what exactly does huffyuv do to improve the quality anyways?

also i would appreciate a further explanation on what smart.vdf does and how to apply it, i was kind of confused on that (sorry im a new to this haha)

If it can capture AVI it will have good quality.

(except Dazzle's but they're worthless to be honest)

It's just a matter of knowing what to do with the video onces you captured it, which is what I meant by commons sense. It's not really hard.

Any of the Wonder series work. There's little difference in capturing quality between them, mainly because capturing isn't their primary use (they're TV cards).

Depends on your budget. If you only have a bit of money get a TV Wonder 200, if you have more money to spend get a 650.

So first of all I would like to say this is a great thread and it worked for me very well

I have a few questions though
1. when i forst capture the video from v dub it takes like 1 gig per 1 minute...can that be fixed or is it just like that?
2. when i record often it laggs and i get inserted frames out the butt hole...is that my comp thats doing that or what is it?

Any help would be great
