Thanks, but no thanks. He asked if it would directly effect his video quality. Not have audio would not effect the quality of the video.

I just bought Pinnacle Studio MovieBox which came with Pinnacle Studio 10. Which programs should I use to capture? Is Virtual Dub the best or is the Studio 10 good enough? Sorry, I'm a noob when it come to all this.

every time i put my .avi clips in Xilisoft Video Converter and render it to .wmv the video changes colors and looks all weird. It has sort of a disco effect.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it? And when i preview the .avi clip in Xilisoft Video Converter it looks bad like that to, but when i view the clip in wmp its good.

I had a disco effect but not like that! Try uninstalling the DivX Codec.

why does vdub crash everytime i try to capture AVI?

Okay I don't want to read through all 3 pages, but I'm confused with how you would go about editing and rendering a Montage with these clips and not compressing a sh.t load of times, but I think I have the process down.

1.) Capture in Vdub
2.) Cut .avi clips out of Vdub, and use those in Vegas to edit.
3.) Once you're done editing, render out of Vegas as .avi
4.) Open the ENTIRE Montage in XVC, and then compress the complete, finished Montage to .wmv using your settings.

Is that correct?
