Intro

I made this little guide to help you guys get help fast. I've seen a lot of people make a post saying "my capture card isn't working how do i fix it, thx!". We need to know more information to be able to help.


Information You Should Include

When making your thread, you should include the following information.

Capture Card Issues/Help

• Capture Card Model (i.e. Dazzle DVC 90, don't just say a Dazzle)
• How your wires are setup. Please write using proper English and punctuation so we can understand.
• What operating system?
• What are your system specifications? (Processor, RAM, Hard Drive, etc)
• What is wrong? - TTry to describe in as much detail as possible
• When did your problem occur?
• What were you doing at the time?
• Has it ever worked?
• What are you trying to do? - Be very specific

Software Issues/Help

• Program Name (i.e. Vegas 7)
• What operating system?
• What are your system specifications? (Processor, RAM, Hard Drive, etc)
• What is wrong? - Try to describe in as much detail as possible
• What settings are you using?
• What were you doing at the time?
• Has it even worked?
• What are you trying to do? - Be very specific

Finally, add anything else that might be helpful in getting your question answered.

Leaving Information For Others

Finally, if your question is answered, post what solved the problem so other's using the Search button can see the answer and not have to post another thread.
