Kind of but it seems like every time i try to record, the frames drop. Why is that?

I have the Dazzle Video Creator Platinum, the way I have it set up is by changing my settings to regular TV instead of HDTV, and just have the standard red, yellow, and white cables connected to the dazzle.

The quality it produces isn't great, and I'd like it to be, is there any thing I can do to improve the quality of it, I'd also like to know how to render it better, I saw that thread you have to best rendering and I didn't see the 170 Platinum anywhere;.

I'm fairly new to capturing so any help would be appreciated, here's a test of my quality, probably not rendered at best.

This isn't a quality help thread. Only ask setup questions. S-Video will give you a lot better quality.
