Does anyone else think that no 1v1 montage should win the contest, or even place in the top 10 for that matter? I really don't think one should. Because all that they show is how many times you tried something in comparison to getting what you tried for. Why is that entertaining?

What is the fun in playing just to get a certain kill? Everyone says how boring Halo 2 is, and that is why they do it. Well then why not just stop playing it if it's boring. And how can you say the game is boring, meanwhile you will go play a 20 minute game with 1 other person throwing grenades all over the map and jumping off the level and shooting barrels to kill that one person, only getting one of those "good" kills once every couple games, on the same map. That's not boring? Inform me on what is then. Because I'm lost. Anyone can get any of those sticks. It just takes time. I could tell my 5 year old brother to go throw a grenade and then throw another one, and after a bunch of tries, he will get it. Along with your oppenents wide receiver skills, he can deffinitely do it. Half of the sticks look either setup or just the opponent caught it. So why in the world is that fun to do? It's just so bizzare. And the spawn glitch now, all spawn sticks can be considered setup. And explain to me how you can use a glitch legitly? Glitch, and legit, in the same sentence. Oxymoron much?

If these kills were done in MLG customs, or MM, it wouldn't be as bad, but still, you're trying 235346346 times to get one thing. But at least there is a better chance that the spawn stick wasn't setup, or the grenade wasn't caught, or the guy wasn't shooting at you because you were attempting something "good". Because that's all 1v1's are. imo.

So let the flaming begin.

There is a project that will kick any 1v1 montages's A$$ that is being made.


I am making a 1v1 montage and I doubt it will get hosted and maybe announced. I think that a montage is a montage and that is that.

I Really Don't Care If They Tried The Same Stick A Million Times, If They Get It, It's Still Amazing

How Many Times Have You Choked For A Double Shot Killtack In FFA(example)?

When People Are Recording For A Montage, They Tend To Go For More "Montage" Type Material. Example

If You're In A 4v4 Game And You Get A Double Kill And One Guy Is In Front Of You...People Tend To Maybe Try And Noscope Him For The Triple.....

Basically Saying, A Montage Is A Compilation Of Their Best Clips, Wether It'd Be Luck, Skill Or Persistence, Don't Be Angry Just Because They Tried The Same Stick Multiple Times, I'm Sure People Have Tried Double Shotting For Multi's Plenty Of Times And Not Gotten It

But they aren't setting up the same clip over and over. Doubleshotting takes skill for one. And you are playing the game to play. You're not saying "Ok, I'm going to snipe this guy, then when this guy comes behind me, then I will doubleshot him" And if you miss the snipe, you go and start over to get that same clip over and over. No, you play the game, and if you come across a situation where you think the clip would be cool for a montage, then go right ahead, try and no scope that guy.
