Posts: 3,265   | RTH Toxic Montage 1 Edited by Focus Arts (D1pset Trick) from Primal Design -------------------------------- READ - I would like to start out to say that I loved editing this montage. When I first joined Xam Media I picked up one of his older projects, RTH Toxic's montage. My goal was to make this montage one of my best projects so far. I didnt want to use any slow songs either, I just wanted it to be a very face paced montage.In my opinion, I think I accomplished that. But my real story begins here. After a few months I got a song done and we decided to redo it. After a couple of months after that and songs we finally got our first song. About a month later I was bored one day so I decided to make a little teaser for Toxic. After I got done with it I sent it over to Toxic and we decided that it would be better to use the teaser I made as the intro. Few months later we finally agreed on a second song and I started editing it. I got done syncing the montage, but we had some rendering issues that delayed this montage for about one more month. I finally got things straightened out and got the second song rendered. I plopped it into Adobe After Effects and added some effects to it and rendered it all out. So this took me about 5-6 months too do. I really took my time on it more then anything. But as time goes on you get better and better at things you practice and well watching this now I realize how fast I progress as an editor. I would say that this is my best editing for three to four months ago. But this is still a awesome montage. Hope you guys enjoy watching it as much as I do. Also a big, huge thanks to Max (Xam Media). He cappered all thye clips and helped me with this project from start to finish. I couldnt have done this with out you buddy. <3

Posts: 1,053   | DLing EWD... Very good saw alot of pros and the editing was good. It felt like I was watching the Str8 tage Idk if it's because of the song. I wasn't sure if it was the right end cuz it ends wierd and when I downloaded it messed up. But other than that it was real good.

Posts: 2,497 | Downloading now :\. Edit : Gameplay and editing were nice. I didn't like the fact that there were no credits. It just kind of, ended. Which made it awkward. I also have to agree that it felt like the Str8 Rippin Montage for some reason. Nevertheless, Nice job.

God frag your sig is soooooooo sick.... f..kn rediculous Edit: Great job, you hit every sync point super well. it was, like the other dude said, kind of a duplicate of the str8 tage, maybe just cuz of the music choice, which was cool, but nothin to fun or crazy. Sick gameplay, sick editing, but for some reason it just lacked somethin. I cant figure out what, but w/e; it was too high quality a production to let that ruin my pov. Great job everyone, and a great addition to the movie comp.

Posts: 2,585 | Good job Dipset, you could tell a lot of effort was put into this video, and the video was a solid production that felt like it went through a lot of polishing. My only complaints are that the video felt a lot like the str8 tage, and that there were no credits. Either way, vid was real good, and a strong addition to the movie comp.
