There hasn't been any great, long montages released lately, that's probably why he's doing it. The best one recently released is Lag Warrior and that's like, 3 minutes long, maybe 4. kTweLve's sucked, the NZ one was ok but the music was ehh. They're trying to get it like it was when all the amazing trailer were out.
And i think it's a good idea, i'm gonna be coming out with one in the next few months, gonna put my all into it now.

I'm hoping that old montages, which were meant to be in the original H3 contest are allowed. Cause if you dont allow Sanguine Wave to be in it, that's rather dumb. Then again, if you do allow that montage in, everyone will solely be focusing on 2nd place.

An Editor's Motivation

The editor’s largest drawback is his lack of motivation.

I have witnessed the evolutionary road which editing has sped through over the past years.

I have witnessed the few who inspired many, the few who have fallen into the depths of the deepest shadows where light no longer exists.

I long to ignite the fire I once held within the most complex combination of matter…captivate me as you have before.

It is astonishing to believe that one may take the most subtle of things, accomplished with the slightest movement founded on glory and pride, entertainment and nostalgia; create your legend.

“I remember that I am here not because of the path that lay before me…but because of the path that lies behind me!”

As the reversed footsteps take me back to the origin, memories flood my head with thoughts of wasted talent; Memories of desire and envy.

How dare I place myself amongst the lowest grade of hypocrites.

Frustration with years of little recognition, talent far surpassing those receiving fame I look back for one last thought of motivation.

I look back, and for that reason I have found my motivation.

If money is all you're after, don't bother entering; odds are your vid would suck anyway.

I hope Z takes better advantage of this with sponsors than just stand on the side and use it as a way to introduce his new blogging format.

I was going to make this point earlier, but decided against it.

Guys, this is a chance to raise us out of the rut of monotony that we have been getting from our productions.

People have to want to do something different, and hopefully this will encourage them to do so. Heck, if it was only money that would have done this, I would have gave something a while ago - but those of you putting the time and effort into a vid have to want to make something enjoyable.

TM22 has obviously put effort into his past productions, and he is now putting effort into getting this contest going so that others of you can do so as well.

Remember the '06 - '07 contest? Remember all the vids that were put up, and the hours of enjoyment you got out of them? RadBrad, Abusedgoat, Babygoose, phobophobia, phalanx and ephrum dualtage, shookon3, luck's 6th, Talents (edited by Halz), Wes, Reid's 5th, gunshots, etc.

Whether you loved those or not, we had vids coming out of the woodwork with something for the tastes of every viewer, and honestly, we need that again.
