It seems the more research I do, the more confused I am on what to get.

What would you all get if you could spend $120 and go usb? The usb will give me more options.

I can go pci or pcie ,but for what I want to do with it, I may need to use my new,faster home pc, and capture it to my laptop that has a core 2 duo,7600 gpu (it's a bit slower). I will capure it first to my new pc (it has a quad 9300 cpu, 8800gts 512mb oc, 4 gb ram (only 3gb recognized by xp home,32-bit though). I will need to run that back to my capture card using the s-video on my video card on my home pc.

I'd explain more, but I want to all show you something in a video that you have never seen,and want the shock effect.

I may need help with the final editing, but what I am going to do with it will be fresh and new.

If you NEED to go USB, then look at the ADS Pyro A/V Link. The ATI 650 USB would also probably be a good choice, but I can't particularly vouch for it's quality. Most ATI cards though have very good quality.

I'm pretty new here, I was directed here by a friend over at B.net (not advertising), he told me he was really busy capturing videos and he couldn't get mine, so i was wondering if anyone could capture about a 2 minute montage? I have ALOT of great material in my file share for download/capture/montage. I will of course give 100% credit to the maker for the video so long as the video says its me playing. Thanks alot, VPFV.

EDIT- Also I'm wondering, I bought a Media Center Hp PC with Xp, and I was wondering if it CAME with a capture card? I see no ports on my computer I know of, but I'm pretty unintelligible when it comes to capture cards as of now.

Im willing to cap for people, as long as its not like 300 clips and its only like 20 at the max.

it is the raw thing with the exception of some colors being edited. I suggest you download it first before you judge the quality.
