First off, I'd just like to say hello to the H3F community, as I haven't touched Halo in months and I finally got around to playing again, so here I am.


What is with kids in matchmaking constantly yelling "f.g QUIT STEALING MY KILLS OH MY GOD YOU'RE SUCH GARBAGE!". I'm not sure if they realize they're playing Halo 3 matchmaking when they yell this stuff. If you ask me, there is no such thing as "stealing kills". Sure, it can be annoying when someone comes in and kills someone you've got down to no shields (because let's face it, everyone wants to look good in matchmaking and have a high k/d ratio), but its simply helping out. It's just teaming up on someone. Who's to say that if they hadn't jumped in you wouldn't have been teamed up on before you got that last shot in? I know posting a thread on H3F isn't going to help the problem much, but I just wanted to share my opinion because quite frankly I've been hearing it a lot in team games and it just gets really annoying. Team shooting ftw.

Well, I don't really care when I am playing for the win but it really gets me when Im about to get a clip or something similar. Generally I wont complain unless kills are stolen consecutively.

Ha, yeah, it's never going to change. Really, to those with a brain not bent on k/d can differenitiate when a person's intention is to save your ass and not trying to be a "vulture".

Anytime I hear someone go off in social (or any other playlist for that matter), when not playing with usuals, I can't help but laugh because there are some people that wind up getting ridiculously butthurt despite their shields having been burst and in obvious need of a bit of help. Sure, it's definitely frustrating when there is someone seemingly picking up ALL--AND I DO MEAN ALL--of your kills, but the stats are evidence to your team effort in that case.

What is hiiiilarious though is when the same person wailing over your kill stealing is the first person to shout, "WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU AT?!!1111"

I see where you're coming from, but it does get really annoying.
