Posts: 8 | Sloppy sniping. Like many of you I have reviewed my snipes in Theater and definite headshots are not getting kills, but getting shot in the hand or elbow from the enemy will get the kill. Grenades have too small of a damage area and take too long to explode. Needler too powerful. AR should own in close combat verses the BR. BR should be weak across the map vs the sniper. I KNOW there was a lag issue with my HDTV vs a regular tv in Halo 2. I think there still is an issue with Halo 3. F’N spawn points. I am tired of getting spawned in front of bullets or be pushing forward from the beach and have the enemy I just killed respawn behind me and kill me. | |||||

Posts: 1 | I miss contention mode in territories. I know King of the Hill is kind of similar if you have a single territory, but it was good having the flag and having to take the opponents down and put yours up. Basically it was perfect because if you were playing 4 player split screen it meant that everyone had to congregate around the flag. Great times, and it rages me out that it's not in Halo 3. Does anyone know how to emulate it well using custom settings? | |||||

if this sounds like im trying to whine. im not. i play the game anyway, so just try to hear me out. i think the game is "broken" if there is an inconsistancy on how the game acts, i say its broken. it needs fixing. examples : shotgun close range = 1hit in one fight. 2nd fight you shoot the guy the exact same way same distance three times, he dosent die, you get beat down. 3rd fight he 1hits you with it from a much greater distance the 1st time. its just totally random beat downs = 1st i shoot him to the point where a beat down should kill him, he dosent die, he beats me down. 2nd, we both shoot eachother to the point of beat downs, i hit him 1st, i die or vice versa(yes, i notice when i SHOULD have died but he died instead) OR we both die. its just totally random and the game seems to just give it to someone then, i think needler is overpowered. next, i think vheicles are to hard to take out. i never really played halo1, never really played halo2. ive been playing CS1.6 for years and decided to get a 360 to play with friends. i want the game to be good, not inconsistant or broken. if a gun or melee attack is going to happen one way, it needs to do the same thing in every scenario. heres another example. kid has a shotgun, he came up from behind, shot me with it dead on, i didnt die. he must have been low already cuz i shot him a few times with AR and meleed him. i thought to myself, man, he must be pissed his shotgun is shooting rubber bullets right now because that should have killed me. so its not just me, i notice when other people SHOULD have gotten the kill, but i get it instead for w/e reason lastly, i dont like the voting system for maps... its random as hell. mabye i dont like shotty snipers, mabye i NEVER want to play it. well, why does it come up after i veto a teamslayer on a map i dont like. they need to find a better system of determaning what map / mode. like... when i choose matchmaking, and then team slayer, i didnt choose MM, shotty sniper. so why do i have to play shotty sniper. then, if i veto the 1st map, im STUCK with the 2nd map. they should do somthing like... you get THREE vetos, if you veto the 1st 3 choices, your stuck with the 4th. Posts: 22 | I agree witht the way bungie made the clip size, right as you get the shield down you have to reload so that way it isnt just whoever shoots first. but i also think it needs to do less damage at a distance i mean honesty it is a fully auto short barrel its got 50 yards max. i also think the more you have it on fully auto the less accurate it should be for instance: if i just start spraying on a guy with a sword and staying away the bullets should become less accurate so i may not be shooting his face the entire time. the way a real AR is. Beatdowns need to do less damage, and if you have ever played with me you wouldnt think i would be saying this, i play on green thumb because i use beatdowns so often. the way it is, is you run and spray and whoever hits the beatdown at the right time wins. beatdowns may need a time adjustment, i dont know what the deal is like if its just host or what but on countless times i have hit someone and felt the controller vibrate and heard the sound and they still killed me, and that is after they had no shield. needlers need a serious damage reduction. a nOOb that has never played halo before could kill a lvl 40 with a needler, which is some serious crap but hey everyone needs a chance right. polygons in the elite need to be remapped or something this has happened several times i have thrown a pike grenade and died and he didnt die then i will go to theater and find out that the grenade went THROUGH his foot or knee. sniper rifle needs to shoot faster, but in turn to stop people from just unloading on someone the faster you shoot the less accurate the rifle is so you have to time your shots. plasma grenades need to be tweaked a bit i think like oh i dont know MORE DAMAGE, if a fly was going inches above a sticky nade and it went off it would just fly off without even knowing there was an explosion, the only time that plasma nades do damage is when someione is stuck. OVERSHEILD needs to be stonger it isnt even worth walking through it to get it i would rather walk around and stay somewhat unfound. | |||||

| | So, instead you would rather be given the same spawn, basically in their scope every time, to prevent being assassinated? It's good that spawns randomize like that, it gives the other team a chance if they lose a portion of the map.

Posts: 8 | Fix the God damn beat down system. I'm tired of this more health win sh.t. It should be on the draw. The person with more health is the one who should keep it range any f..king way. Idk if someone already posted something like this but I don't feel like scrolling through the threads lol. I'm at school, this game has consumed me. Dammit. | |||||
