We have grown into one of the largest competitive-gaming tournament hosts on the east coast with weekly tournaments including Halo 3, Super Smash Bros. Melee/Brawl, and Soul Calibur 4, among other smaller local tournaments with Rock Band 2, Street Fighter, Guitar Hero, and more. Please be sure to check out our Frequently Asked Questions (located at the bottom) and post here if you have any questions. Thanks.- 4 vs 4 - Teams will be seeded via placement from the 2v2 tournament in December. If you don't attend the 2v2, you will be seeded in last place along with all other teams that don't have seeding points. - Double-elimination (lose once means play harder, lose twice means go home). - Winners bracket will be Slayer, Objective, Slayer. Losers bracket will be all TS until Finals/Semi-Finals. Best of 5's will be used for WB Finals and LB Finals matches. Overall finals will either be a best of 9 (first to 5) with previous scores between the teams accounted for, or if the two finalists have not competed against each other at all until the finals, it will be two best of 5's (the LB Finalist team needs to beat the WB Finalist team in 2 sets of best of 5s, whereas the WB Finalist team only needs to be the LB Finalist team once due to double-eliminiation). - Coaches allowed for free. Spectating is free. Substitutions will be allowed only on my discretion. - MLG v5 (or v6 if available) will be used. We will not be using Onslaught, Amplified, or Blackout. Visit www.mlgpro.com for more information on MLG's gametypes and variants. Schedule - We open at 11:00am, no exceptions. Don't show up before 11. - Registration begins at 11:15am and ends at 11:45pm. Pre-registration ends on midnight the night before the tournament. You are NOT required to pre-pay to pre-register. Every individual player will have their own seeding points. To add seeding points to your pre-registered team, post in this thread or pre-register the team and tell me which player(s) were on which team(s). Lying about this will disqualify you from the 4v4 completely. You can either bring a play-n-charge cable, or you can borrow one from us if we have any left (not guaranteed). You will be disqualified from the tournament if we see you with a battery pack in your controller, regardless if you have batteries in it. Consider this your first warning. I will remind everyone of this before the tournament starts... but if you don't want to risk it, either leave your batter pack at home or don't bring a wireless controller. Prizes 1st Place: 55% of entrance fees 2nd Place: 30% of entrance fees 3rd Place: 15% of entrance fees *Prizes will be given in cash. *All percentages are after a 20% house cut. Frequently Asked Questions Q: How many teams are you expecting? A: You can always ask in this thread for an update of pre-registered teams. I can't predict how many teams there will be for GoW2 considering the game will have just come out. For Halo 3 4v4 tournaments, we had 10 teams at our May tournament, 16 teams at our July tournament, 12 at our August tournament, and 20 at our October tournament. Unfortunately, there are no guaranteed prizes -- it completely depends no how many teams attend. Q: How long will the tournament last? A: We try to run our tournaments in the most time-efficient way possible; however, with only 8 TVs, double-elimination and a minimum of best of 3 maps, you can hopefully understand why this may prove to be difficult. Our Halo 3 tournaments last the ENTIRE day, sometimes ending as late as midnight or even later. Unless you're expecting to get knocked out first round, try to plan ahead for a full day of gaming! Q: What type of parental supervision is there? A: Although we have never had any problems with this in the past, we are unable to keep track of every single minor that attends our tournaments with 60+ people all walking around and coming in and out. Q: What can we do while we wait? A: We MAY have a TV setup with a game for people to play depending on how busy we are. There's a McDonalds and Chinese restaurant right next to us. For parents, there is a mall and movie theater about 10 minutes away on Route 9. Unfortunately, you may find yourself waiting to play for long periods of time during the early rounds until some of the teams are knocked out (literally hours between matches). Again, we will try to speed things up as fast as possible. Q: Can we talk trash and start fights during your tournament? A: Although some trash talk while you are playing is unavoidable, any problems outside of a Halo match will be dealt with accordingly. Keep in mind that Technicals will be given out (warning + loss of host for your next map) for excessive taunting during a match. Vulgarity directed towards any individual in the store will result in an automatic Technical. Please act like adults or you will be asked to leave. Q: What if I have a question that is not listed above? A: Feel free to post here. The more bumps this thread gets, the more players will see the tournament! Please move your conversations to the other two threads. This tournament is over. Thanks.

| | Hey Blinky I was noticing up there that you had "Beyond your calibur" listed as a pre-register, you can take that off because amnesia and flavvless are teaming with me and wild on "Volatile" which you have as well...also Amnesia and Flavvles went to the 2v2 to get seeded
