what maps are we going to play on for the 2v2? and is radar going to be off?

Still talking to people about radar and could use some opinions -- I'm going to say almost definitely off unless a lot of people think it'd be better to have it on. The maps are listed already on the OP.

Radar should unquestionably be off. I would expect the rules and maps used in this tournament to resemble those of gamebattles 2v2.

The only reason why it was even a question is because I like to listen to the community before making set-in-stone decisions -- I assumed that's what most people wanted, but once I make a rule, it's final. Just making sure. Radar will indeed be off.

We've been running really low on 360s and copies of Halo but we should have more than enough by Saturday.

No offense, but I really don't care what you "expect". If you don't like the rules then don't come.

Your remark was uncalled for. It's not like I have any power to change the rules; if they aren't GB/MLG rules I wouldn't complain either. They are just what I was expecting for the most competitive gaming experience shown statistically from previous tournaments. Chill out

There are plenty of other people in every single other thread that has posted their opinion (check the two posts above you?) without sounding edit: like "that".

Maybe I misunderstood your post, but try to be careful with your words. "Unquestionably" -- you're saying that it shouldn't even be a question... and I'm saying no, it should be, because that's how I run my tournaments -- I ask the players.

Well I don't mean to sound arrogant, that's just what made sense to me is all. I figured that there was an extremely strong chance radar was going to be turned off so I went for it as a sort of a "well in my opinion:" kind of answer to whoever asked it.

Not hearing much from the competition... Where's everyone at?
