Posts: 71  | i was looking in the november issue of game informer and they had a good review of Turtle Beach Ear Force X3 headphones. i just wanted to know if those are any good and how they work (do the headphones give you both TV sound and chat sound through them?)

Posts: 1,447  | don't get the earforcce headphones, I broke and returned mine 3 times and then I just gave up. I'd suggest getting some open aire headphones so that you can hear your teammates at events, but thats just me, a common pair of headphones are the sanheiser 555s

Posts: 6,155 | Ask Scott, he knows everything and spends his life savings on them. Actually he doesn't, but he's got a ton of nice pairs. I have Turtle Beach Ear Force X1's and they are great. You just piggy back them from your Xbox 360's audio cables. You can adjust the game volume and chat volume separately, and they have a really long USB cord. | ||||

Posts: 748 | use the search button..theres like 3 good sized threads with a ton of info on headphones here...and none of the big named, advertised brands are even half-way decent for gaming. its advertisments and nothing more.. Scott & I know a great deal about headphones...Scott more than me but meh.

Posts: 67  | I have spent quite a bit of money on headphones and honestly the cheap $30 headphones a lot of times sound just as good as the $100 headphones. I am currently using the Steel sound (5H) and they sound pretty damn good. I would suggest buying them from Newegg or amazon, if you want a good price.
