Okay, I'm starting to see a lot more activity in this section which is really good since it's good to think that this community doesn't have fun and just play MLG, MLG, MLG.

Here are some helpful tips that will no doubt get more views and surely more downloads.
- Titles. Thread titles are the first actual "information" about your map anyone will see. Your title needs to be "snazzy, professional, and again, attractive. (Attractive meaning that it will attract people to your thread and not that other meaning of attraction.)
- First off, if you want more people to download your map(s) you pretty much need to take an appropriate screenshot(s) of your forged map and include it in your post. And please don't post the full size screenshots. If you have Photoshop, it's a given that you know how to resize a picture, but you can also make images smaller with paint. Making a screenshot is one of the best things you can do to either show-off or advertise your map(s) for downloads. More tips below. THIS is a perfect example of the very professional and perfect way to show-off or advertise your map. A perfect size for your map's picture is 640x480 or 640x202 if taken on a widescreen TV.
- When describing you map, try to sound very enthusiastic and actually describe your map. Instead of just saying, "Yeah, me and my brother made this racing map." try and actually describe it and type why you think the map is worth posting. People don't really want to waste their time to download a map that isn't described very well and pretty much don't know what they're downloading. THIS link is a not-so-great approach at advertising and even at least trying to get people to look at your thread.
- I'm also seeing Map Packs and this is a very, very good idea. It is a lot better to describe, show-off all of your maps at once than just only showing off one that isn't very great. And the sound "Map Pack" sounds a lot more attractive than just a regular old map being posted.
Well, hopefully that will help you out to get more people to download, play and love your new maps using Halo 3's Forge feature. Also, I'll be updating this thread frequently with my "User Picked" maps of the week, etc. So, here's this weeks map:
This week's "Map of the Week" goes to Mud21dawg & White3Lightning's "Sector 6" map. Even though this map was posted a week before this post was made, why won't it be able to make this week's "Map of the Week" right? Anyway, by looking at the pictures you can even see that this map is fun to play. Here's the description:
"An abandoned warehouse used as part of the UNSC cargo transport system. This is a fast-paced map, especially in FFA. Play with default slayer settings (feel free to make it AR or BR start) or MLG TS settings. This map was created by Muddawg and White3Lightning. Thank you to Ryu Hitokiri for helping with spawns and screenshots. Also Thank you to all testers."
