Posts: 1,184 | This is how melees work in Halo 3. Who ever has the most health at close range will win the melee fight no matter what. Example I have no shields and the person I'm trying to kill has a 1/4542354235324532354 of shields left. He will win. Even if he Melee's 2 seconds later he will kill you. Your beatdown can not hurt him at close range if he melee's with in 2 seconds. Congratulation Bungie on making up the gayest system ever. Thank you for making Claw almost useless. Thank you for taking out reaction time and judjing weather or not you are within range to beat him down. Thank you bungie. VIDEO DEMONSTRATION I don't know who made that. Posts: 10 | That flaw isn't any worse than their database chosing players based on skill and not their kill/death ratio. Would make for much more even games, instead of having guys in a game that don't belong there...good or bad. But I agree, I don't know how many times this melee crap has happened to me and I've lost. I sometimes wonder why I honestly play this game. So many illogical gameplay aspects.
