Posts: 1,684 | very good thread scott :P its true, port forwarding is a pain in the ass because you need to know what ports to use, chances are you'll have to call xbox live tech support, DMZ is much better because you can do it on your own without knowing the ports...but in some cases you'll need to do both..EX: if you play counter strike on your PC or any kind of pc game online and you play on xbl, you'll have to do both because you can only set one device or IP to DMZ (Demilitarized Zone). If any of you need further assistance possiblly even remote assistance to configure your routers and im in a good mood, you can get a hold of me at AIM=TheLagzalot However I think this thread is pretty much self explanatory.

Posts: 706 | alright i went through all the steps, but i still have a moderate NAT. i tried different DNS things, and its still not working for me... I would love some help, although i have no idea what ANY of this stuff means haha

Posts: 8 | This is happening to me at my college. I don't think I can fix this, but I don't use a router. I use a switch because I can't use a router here. Does this still work for a switch...I don't think so. It would be really nice to get my NAT open. I can't play with my other college buddies. Thanks
