Port forwarding uTorrent would help.

But you might not need to do it. On uTorrent, if you have a green circle with a check mark at the bottom, then you don't need to. If you have a yellow exclamation mark, then you need to.

But uTorrent is the same as XBC. It can be a pain if your router has a fast lease time, so you need to setup a static IP for your computer.

Go to Start > Run and type "cmd". Then type "ipconfig /all". Take a note of your Primary DNS in there.

Then go to your Xbox, settings, network settings, edit settings, DNS Server, manual and use:

Primary DNS: whatever you took note of from ipconfig /all
Secondary DNS: not needed.

I live on a campus that makes us go through a ResNet portal which doesn't allow port forwarding except for a single port (24842). I tried this guide but my NAT is still moderate, any ideas on what to do, or am I stuck like this?

I remember I had this problem and then I just put my router to factory defaults and Bam, open NAT

it changed mine to strict. WTF

Uh, this guide isn't for port forwarding. : /

Doubt it. Must be a coincidence. What this guide does is allow unrestricted access to a certain IP. It's physically impossible to give you a strict NAT by unrestricting access to it.

When I entered my routers ip address in my browser it said either bad request or the connection reset.
